Missions Ministry: The Missions Ministry
is committed to fulfilling our churches mission as well as the Great Commission
Jesus gave to the Church. The ministry
is made up of five components within the ministry and are as follows:
Prison Ministry: The ministry serves the incarnated and their families, encouraging and visiting them during their incarnation, and supplying help after release.
Foreign Missions: The ministry supports short term and long term missionaries on the foreign mission field through Carver Missions.
Sick, Shut-in and Recovery: The ministry visits, and calls those who are sick either at home or in the hospital, encouraging them and their families. The ministry also helps when needed, such as fixing meals, with doctors visits, etc.
Nursing Home: The ministry ministers monthly at Park Pleasant Nursing Home, singing, bringing the Word, praying for and visiting with the residents.
Home Missions: The ministry helps to meet the needs of those who are going through bereavement; we support the Macedonia Family Development and Learning Center Monthly; are a part of the Share Food Program monthly; give food baskets at Thanksgiving, and help needy families at Christmas time, etc.
